Alana Levandoski

After the release of her first album Unsettled Down (Rounder Records), Alana Levandoski has been widely touring between 2005 and 2007. Having performed multiple times in Canada, the UK, France, The Netherlands, Spain and Ireland, Alana is now home for awhile and has gone on to record her second album in the winter of '08(due out early '09). The new album was recorded with famed Liverpool producer Ken Nelson (Coldplay, Paulo Nutini) and a group of wonderful musicians in St. John Divine Anglican Church of Kelwood, Manitoba as well as at Parr St Studios in Liverpool. Alana's reputation has been bolstered by touring with Dar Williams, Lynn Miles, Blue Rodeo, Corb Lund, Randy Bachman, Tal Bachman, Lindy, Caroline Herring, Tanya Tucker and more. She has also co-written with Canadian folk icon Sylvia Tyson, Mark Simos(Alison Krauss), Simon Wilcox, Sam Ashworth, Colin Linden, Gary Nichols, James LeBlanc, George Canyon, and Colin Cripps.
