"Both Al and Lita are tremendous artists...."

"Alan and Lita Blake are two people of integrity and talent.
Just recently, I had the pleasure of receiving a tune written by Mr. Al and it is now a great tribute to the wonderful musical talents of two great Philly guys, the late Grover Washington, Jr. and Mr. George Howard.
I was awed by the style and feel of the writing. Both Al and Lita are tremendous artists and deserve to be heard by the world many times over." - Bob Baldwin

"Alan and Lita Blake and Chaka Khan perform..."

Popular Atlanta jazz duo Alan and Lita Blake perform for the 3rd year in a row at the annual 100 Black Men "Le Cabaret" Gala Event in the Gala reception area and the Main Stage area at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, GA. prior to the Chaka Khan concert on Friday May 25th, 2007 at 7PM. -

"Jay Edwards WCLK-FM Review"

Fluid and flexible with a hymn like dignity are essential for Alan and Lita Blake. Whether a live performance or CD, audiences are captivated by Lita's sultry voice and Alan's sensuous touch on the keys. Their warmth and insight defines an innovative marriage to duets--swinging and loving it! "You're the One For Me," their most recent release sets the tone for lovers and romantic interludes. This versatile husband and wife team integrates elements of jazz, Latin-jazz, and pop-in their ballads for romantic warriors. - WCLK-FM 91.9

"The Honorable Marcella Liburd-Gala Committee of St. Kitts Island-West Indies"

“A sumptuous dinner followed the Prime Minister’s New Year’s Toast but the top-class international entertainment during the dinner was added dessert. Guests were enthralled by the highly active and talented group Just the Two of Us (Alan and Lita Blake) out of Atlanta, Georgia with guitarist Marlon Merritt out of Nashville Tennessee.” - Government of St. Kitts

"CD Reviewer-John Anderson"

This is a lets-hit-all-bases cornucopia where Al Jarreau-style smooth pop "Friday Night" competes with a New Jack vibe "Cool Mood", and where southern African dance tunes "Way Down In South Africa" jostle alongside electronically-derived swing "You!!". Evidently, Alan is a studio whiz, a brilliant keyboardist and a singer of note, ditto Lita. -

"Bruce Pulver review-2008"

March 2008 (Future of Jazz Competition)
“Very powerful voice, FUN! You were having fun that made us have fun with you! Enjoyed your spirit and emotion. The arrangements were well done to support and compliment your strengths. Wonderful drama to the tunes.
Great Energy!
- Bruce
