After finding an old dusty guitar tucked behind a toolbox, paint cans, and a litany of other random materials in the corner of my parent’s basement storage room I started playing music at the age of twelve. Four years ago I went off to college in Chicago. Along the way I started gigging around at local windy city venues. I feel like I have barely even started exploring the world of music. But now that I’ve grown up a little bit I want to vibe in a groove of writing songs with depth and fun, allowing the listener to see life from my perspective.

This past winter of 2011 I found myself on a two day crash course in a local studio, Elevation, in Cleveland. With the help of sound engineer and friend Jake Fader combined we played almost everything on the album, even dabbling in percussion.

My first full band effort, just in time for warmer weather is a soundtrack of mid-west adventures. The fun of hopping on a train, strolling in the shadow of a skyline, or cruising a lakefront on a summer afternoon, when I always tried to carry a tune. I am excited about "Getting From A to B" as an opportunity for others to sing along.
