Alan Gresik

Alan Gresik

1930s rock n' roll radio show featuring Amanda Wolff on vocals. It's the rock music of the 1930s not to be confused with the modern bigband. They are two different entities. Just think of the old time Warner Brothers cartoon music melded into a live 1930s radio broadcast.

Have you ever been to the Green Mill Lounge on a thursday night in Chicago?
90% of our material are original songs that haven't been heard in 75 years. It's the rock music of the 1930s and 40s. Not bigband music as of today but completely fresh and witty. Experience a live 1937 radio show in 2010. Totally entertaining and riveting. Typically, 12 to 14 songs are done per set with 3 vintage spoof radio commercials. All the music arrangements we use are the original stock arrangements that were used by radio station staff orchestra's during the 1930s and early 40s.
There is no dead air between our numbers.
