Lyrics

16 Minutes

Written By: David Huseonica

40 miles high and I’m coming home
I’m ready to leave this place
16 minutes and my journey’s done
A million miles I’ve flown
I said goodbye to outerspace

Cause I, I chased my dream for a rocket ride
Spaceship please take me away

Woke up this morning in the usual way
With a picture of your face
Circling earth for another day
Floating in my dream
To be one with outerspace

As I, I chase my dream for a rocket ride
Spaceship please take me away
I gave my life for a nation’s pride
Dry your tears I’m okay
I’m okay, I’m okay, I’m okay

It’s gonna be hard but you gotta move on
With my memories in your heart
I know you can’t see me in the usual way
As long as there are stars
We can never be apart

Cause I, I chased my dream for a rocket ride
Spaceship please take me away
I gave my life for a nation’s pride
Dry your tears I’m okay
I’m okay, I’m okay, I’m okay

I chased my dream for a rocket ride
Spaceship please take me away
I gave my life for a nation’s pride
Dry your tears I’m okay
I’m okay, I’m okay, I’m okay
