Hoje eu tenho mais que uma dica; eu tenho na verdade um conselho para vocês que gostam de ouvir música boaaaaaa mesmo. Está certo que só tem banda boa aqui no blog, mas hoje eu vou mostrar uma das bandas que me ganhou logo que apertei o play. A primeira música que eu ouvir deles foi “Tempo bom”, depois dessa canção não consegui mais parar de curtir.
A minha música preferida é a canção “Cada um por Si”, ela tem uma pegada mais rock roll fascinante. Mas quero deixar bem claro que todas as canções faz você ter uma sensação diferente, é um álbum que fará você viajar para lugares incríveis. É isso que as canções têm que provocar em nós que gostamos de música, coisas inexplicáveis.
Outra música que me apaixonei foi “Mas Não Sei”, essa música me fez dança na estação e cantar no metro, essa sensação eu descrevo como felicidade contagiante.

FRS: How did you two meet and decide to form the band?

Alarmes: Biel and Lucas met in high school and decided to make a band, calling two more friends to complete the sound. In 2014 Arthur entered the place of Rodrigo (former vocalist) who had left the band. A few months later Hermano (guitarist) also left and the lineup remained only between the three of us (Arthur, Biel and Lucas). Today we no longer intend to change the formation of the band.

FRS: You recently released their debut album titled "Em Branco". How long did the production last and why was the record received?

Alarmes: The production period lasted approximately one year. From compositions to the production and recording of tracks. The title "Em Branco" is due to the fact that we are launching our first work, and not knowing for sure what impact this will have on people. "In White" is a space that we want to fill in the people who are willing to listen to the album and embrace all the feeling we want to go through.

FRS: What was most arduous during the process of composing the album? And how does the composing process work for you?

Alarmes: During the composition process we had no major difficulties. We write in a very quiet way, without much pressure because of the time, it is always something very spontaneous and natural. Usually Arthur brings the lyrics with melodies so we can work the instrumentation together according to what each one feels most comfortable doing, adjusting the details in the pre production for recording.

FRS: "Em Branco" has 12 songs. In your opinion, which band defines the band's proposal more accurately?

Alarmes: The track "Incerteza de Um Encontro Qualquer" well sums up the album proposal and also captures the energy of our live performances. It was the last song that we finished in the composition phase of "Em Branco" and we have a great affection for her.

FRS: The first promotion show of the album happened on 9/4 in Brasilia. What impact does the city have on the sound of the band?

Alarmes: We believe that the city itself does not influence our sonority. Most of the time we do not take into account where we are. We can say that what touches at the parties, in the streets, in the cars and in the houses of friends ends up somehow entering our head and appearing at the time of composition, but nothing directly related to Brasilia.

FRS: Still talking about Brasilia, you are part of a new group of bands that put the federal capital back in the representation of national rock. What has been causing this wave of new Brazilian bands?

Alarmes: Good band never lacked in Brasilia. We have lived here for a long time and always find bars, show houses and even bands on the streets incredible bands with very good musicians. FRS: Como vocês se conheceram e decidiram formar a banda?

Alarmes: O Biel e o Lucas se conheceram no ensino médio e resolveram fazer uma banda, chamando mais dois amigos pra completar o som. Em 2014 o Arthur entrou no lugar do Rodrigo (antigo vocalista) que havia saído da banda. Alguns meses depois o Hermano (guitarrista) também saiu e a formação se manteve somente entre nós três (Arthur, Biel e Lucas). Hoje não temos mais pretensão de alterar a formação da banda.

FRS: Vocês lançaram recentemente o álbum de estreia intitulado "Em Branco". Quanto tempo durou a produção e porque o registro recebeu esse título?

Alarmes: O período de produção durou aproximadamente um ano. Desde composições à produção e gravação das faixas. O título "Em Branco" se deve ao fato de estarmos lançando o nosso primeiro trabalho, e de não sabermos ao certo qual o impacto que isso causará nas pessoas. "Em Branco" é um espaço que queremos preencher nas pessoas que se dispuserem a ouvir o álbum e abraçarem todo o sentimento que queremos passar.

FRS: O que foi mais árduo durante o processo de composição do álbum? E como funciona o processo de composição para vocês?

Alarmes: Durante o processo de composição não tivemos grandes dificuldades. Nós escrevemos de uma maneira muito tranquila, sem muita pressão por conta do tempo, é sempre algo muito espontâneo e natural. Normalmente o Arthur traz as letras com melodias pra irmos trabalhando a instrumentação em conjunto de acordo com o que cada um se sente mais confortável em fazer, ajustando os detalhes na pré produção pra gravação.

FRS: "Em Branco" possui 12 músicas. Na sua opinião, qual faixa define com mais precisão a proposta da banda?

Alarmes: A faixa “Incerteza de Um Encontro Qualquer” resume bem a proposta do álbum e também capta a energia das nossas apresentações ao vivo. Foi a última música que terminamos na fase de composição do “Em Branco” e temos um carinho enorme por ela.

FRS: O primeiro show de promoção do álbum aconteceu no dia 9/4 em Brasília. Qual impacto que a cidade causa na sonoridade da banda?

Alarmes: Acreditamos que a cidade em si não influencia na nossa sonoridade. Na maioria das vezes não compomos levando em conta onde estamos. Podemos dizer que o que toca nas festas, nas ruas, nos carros e nas casas de amigos acaba de alguma forma entrando na nossa cabeça e aparecendo na hora da composição, mas nada relacionado diretamente a Brasília.

FRS: Ainda falando sobre Brasília, vocês fazem parte de um novo grupo de bandas que colocam a capital federal de volta na representatividade do rock nacional. O que vêm causando essa onda de novas bandas brasilienses?

Alarmes: Banda boa nunca faltou em Brasília. Moramos aqui há bastante tempo e sempre encontramos nos bares, nas casas de show e até nas ruas bandas incríveis com músicos muito bons. Essa onda de novas bandas de Brasília que vem aparecendo se deve à união da cena da cidade. Hoje em dia é muito comum ver as bandas trabalhando juntas, produzindo eventos juntas e uma ajudando a outra no que for possível, é assim que tem que ser. É um prazer enorme fazer parte dessa cena tão talentosa. Temos muito que agradecer ao Scalene também por todo o trabalho feito ao longo dos anos e pela ótima campanha no Superstar do ano passado (2015), que virou os holofotes pra cá.

FRS: Para finalizar, por que as pessoas devem ouvir a banda Alarmes e quais os planos para o restante de 2016?

Alarmes: Nossas composições buscam colocar para fora sentimentos bastante profundos e, ao ouvir Alarmes, as pessoas têm um gosto do que é comum a todos, mas não tão evidente assim em nossas rotinas, além de experienciar a sonoridade espontânea que abrange diferentes estilos do rock. O álbum todo me parece que é uma história de uma grande decepção amorosa cheio de altos e baixos, com pitadinhas de esperança no decorrer das músicas. Mas não se preocupa, não dá vontade de chorar em posição fetal por 10 anos, mas sim vontade de dançar, pular e gritar o tanto que você fez origami de trouxa e no fim das contas vai ficar aliviado por ter deixado tanto sentimento acumulado sair.
