With an ever-growing love for the music of the '60s, '70s and music by bands from the current indie-scene, AlascA makes authentic indie-folk in which melancholic melodies, poetic lyrics and close-harmony vocals play starring roles. AlascA's first Ep, Love Song no.19, was released on the 28th of August 2009 and was presented to the band by Jan Akkerman The Ep features four songs; Love Song no.19, Maybe, Showers of April and Actors and Liars. The band is currently working on the second Ep "Politics" and its first full-length debut album, Actors and Liars, due to be released in April 2011.
