Bio
Alasdair Roberts is a German-born Scottish folk singer and guitarist. His work consists of interpretations of traditional ballads and songs from Scotland and beyond, as well as self-written material. He has collaborated widely with musicians from many different backgrounds - jazz, rock, baroque, classical - and with other artists such as poets, puppeteers and film makers. Since 1997 he has worked with Drag City Records of Chicago, Illinois, releasing three albums under the name Appendix Out and, since 2001, six albums under his own name. He is currently based in Glasgow, Scotland.
