Lyrics

expecting rain

Written By: albert thompson

Expecting rain 20th august 2009 by Albert Thompson

Expecting rain, its another cloudy day
There seemed to be more sunshine, before you went away
Although in time, Im told I may forget
I expect that it will rain for sometime yet

We met our hearts and souls entwined as love is want to do
And our eyes said we would be as one
Before the day was through
The magic of that first embrace
The breathless taste of love
You appeared just like an angel from above

Chorus

We had our moments etched in time
The passion new love brings
And I wouldn’t change a thing we did
We flew on eagles wings
But like a flower that blooms early
And shines bright everyday
Your love your bloom was soon to pass away

Chorus
Expecting rain, its another cloudy day
There seemed to be more sunshine before you went away
Although in time Im told I may forget
I expect that it will rain for sometime yet

lost in love

Written By: albert thompson

Chorus
You can never tell the moment that smile that look that glance
Your eyes meet for a second and you know that there’s a chance
Aint it true it always happens when your not looking for romance
You get lost in love, lost in love

Then suddenly your in my arms we hold each other tight
The fire coursing through our veins, oblivious to the night
We close our eyes we feel the heat, our passion set alight
And we’re lost in love, lost in love

And now my heart beats faster every time that you appear
I see you and my soul fills with uncertainty and fear
Excitement builds inside me I cant wait to hold you near
Lost in love, lost in love, lost in love

Chorus You can never tell the moment, that smile that look that glance, your eyes meet for a second

Original poem by Wendy J Green

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Truly really deeply his lips caress on mine
A deep exotic tingle whistles through my spine
Of course this is the time we kiss our bodies to entwine
I tingle wilt and wither each time that he comes near
My heart starts to beat so fast I’m glad that he can’t hear

TRAVELLING MAN written by albert Thompson 25th July 2009-07-26

When I was a young man to travel I did yearn
And I wanted time to see the world, I wanted time to learn
So I walked away from my family, I walked away from home
Looking for adventure, and excitement where I roamed

Chorus
I’m a travelling man, and I roam from town to town
I’m a travelling man, got no time to settle down

And I must have walked a thousand miles
And sailed ten thousand more
As I travelled round from town to town
Crossed seas to different shores

Chorus

And I must have met a thousand girls, And met a thousand men
All fading into shadows, passing ships from way back when

Chorus

And I must have seen a thousand sights,
then seen a thousand more
from canadas lakes and seaways,
to australias southern shores

chorus

And I must have vowed a thousand times
That I’ll be back again
But that dream is way behind me now
Things never stay the same

chorus
