A scruffy bunch of youngsters that play the blues with unparalleled skill. They do something and I’m not a hundred percent what it is but they do it well and it certainly makes me like them. I seriously struggle to pigeon hole it and place my finger where it needs to be. Is it the vocals? Certainly unique and more singing than actual shouting or talking with zeal. What’s the French for Va Va Voom? Clearly a winner with everybody the Under 18s crowd loved them like we used to love Iggy. The new generation has spoken.

We’re Alcove State. Three guys, from the town of High Wycombe in Buckinghamshire. The CD enclosed is our demo from 2007. After gigging extensively for the first 6 months of last 2008 we’ve been of the circuit for the last 6 months, deciding in what direction to take the band from here
Last year we got to the 3rd round of the Surface Unsigned festival in London. We also had a lot of gigging experience in Leeds, London, Kent, Staines and also our home town.
The tracks on the EPK will just give you a rough idea of how we sound. You may not like us, but we thought we would give it a go and see what happens.
