Alecia La'Rue grew up in Montgomery, Alabama as the only child of her mother and father. She found her love for music at the age of 7. She began singing and dancing to artist such as Michael Jackson, Chaka Khan, Lisa Fischer, Envogue, Karyn White, Frankie Beverly, Maze, Earth Wind & Fire and more. Alecia began singing in the church choir and also attending gospel concerts with her grandmother and father, who is now a blues singer and played along with the late Marvin Sease. Growing up she followed in her dads footsteps and began persuing her dream as an rnb singer. Her music is based on her life experiences that the whole world can relate too. She now performs at local and outer state events and she continues to charm the world with her sweet, mellow, sensational voice.
