60 Tigres recorded their first ep in Laboratorios Casa Buenaventura, a studio made by Alejandro Elizondo, where they worked in a demo of four songs titled “America”. Juan Carlos Loyo was in charge of the design of the album art and the band of its distribution.

The band has been working on their next album “Los Emigrantes” that will be out in January 2008.

Bio

The music of 60 Tigres can be defined as a combo of funk and psychedelic punk. The use of Dancing beats, electronic sound effects, and catchy bass lines are some of the characteristics of the band. This combination makes their live shows full of energy and power.

This project began on April 2005 in the city of Monterrey Mexico, following the separation of La Femme Latex. Alejandro Elizondo (drums), Miguel Moreno (guitar) together with Luis Guerra as the electronic manipulator created this new project.

During two years the band had several changes Roberto Polo (bass), Saverio Giandusa (keyboard), and Efren Baron (replacing Miguel Moreno in the guitar) joined the band.

The band has played in different places of Mexico and the United States.
