Bio
Alenna Mazur is a seventeen-year old singer/songwriter. Her biggest passion is music, whether it’s playing piano, writing songs, singing, dancing, teaching piano or learning new instruments...currently she’s been working on her skills as a drummer and guitarist. She’s also involved in her school’s student council, sports and activities at her church. Alenna began playing the fiddle and singing with her family at age 5. She took up the piano when she was seven and wrote her first song at age thirteen. Her band consists of her brothers, Mike and Matt, her dad, Larry, and her friend, Jeremy Walmsley of Neepawa. Five of her piano students also make a guest appearance in one of her songs. After grad, Alenna plans on getting an education degree at University of Regina and then studying contemporary songwriting and performing in the United States.
Her influences are Nichole Nordeman, Alison Krauss, Colbie Caillat and Sara Bareilles.
