After peruvian rock band TK (MTV VMALA Winner) was disolved, Edgar Guerra (TK's lead guitar player and composer) decided to begin a new rock band. He talked to a musician friend Samuel Geller (drummer) who was looking for a rock band.
On 2007, they begun the auditions to get a bassman and a guitar player. After lot of auditions, they met Bencio Lingan (bass) and Carlos Ferreyros (guitar); both, indie rock lovers.
With influences bands and artists like beatles, the clash, rolling stones, michael jackson, andres calamaro, fito paez, the killers, the strokes, the kooks within others, they started the recording of they debut album under the musical production of Edgar Guerra and José Eyzaguirre. It was recording at "El Cuarto de Jose" of Lima, Perú studios and mastered in El Pie Recording Studios of Buenos Aires, Argentina.
This album will be released on October 2008 in Lima, Perú.
Alerta Rocket is a four indie rock band with the peculiar feature of enjoy playing music in front of their fans and innovating in their skills to improve making music. We have our own sound and our way to arrange our songs.
