Music takes a new breath of life with singer Alessandro, a gifted Italian whose music speaks for itself. Alessandro is recording his debut album; some of his tracks are in Italian and some in English. With musical influences such as Eros Ramazzotti, Luis Miguel and Coldplay, you can hear where Alessandro’s musical roots are.
Having spent time recording and performing in America, Italy and London, Alessandro is able to bring a little music from each country together to make his own distinctive sound. With a beautiful voice and genuine lyrics Alessandro is an artist to watch.

1. Where in Italy are you from?
I was born in Naples thirty-one years ago.
2. What is your earliest childhood music memory?
When I was about ten I was dreaming about playing concerts, on big stages.
3. What is the last CD you bought?
Soundtrack for Cinema Paradiso by Ennio Morricone.
4. So far which has been your best gig you have played?
In Austin Texas in February 2007, at a big Festival.
5. You are recording your debut album, what will it be called and when is it due for release?
I’m currently recording my solo album, it will be entitled Alessandro and it will contain twelve tracks in Spanish, Italian and English and it should be ready by February 2008. It will be released in Italy to start with.
6. What is the last movie you saw?
Transformers.
7. When you are writing songs, do you write the music or lyrics first?
I hear the melody line, then I play it on my guitar, and the lyrics come right after.
8. Is any of your family musical?
I’m the only one.
9. What is the last book you read?
‘The Seagull Jonathan Livingston’ for the second time by Richard Bach.
10. Where will you spend Christmas and New Year?
In London with some friends, playing a gig on the 31st.

Bio
Alessandro was born in Naples, Italy in 1976. Since a very young age he has had a very strong passion for music, instruments of all kind. His love for music grew even more when he was 15, and his father bought him his first classical guitar and a chord book. Since then, the love affair with music, has changed the way of living his life. At 15 he started taking private classical guitar lessons, that gave him a solid music theory and practical foundation. At the same age, he started writing songs and hundreds of poems. After spending several years, playing music with local bands, in the small town of Formia, in Italy, and being influenced by artists such as Pink Floyd, Elton John, Genesis and many more, Alessandro moved to America. In Denver, Colorado, he studied music, particularly blues and jazz guitar, and met Randy Caballero, a veteran in Tejano, and Latin Music. There they started immediately arranging and writing music that they both wrote during various years. Several demos were recorded and Alessandro was able to grow his talent, inspiration, improve his singing skills, and experience playing shows all around Colorado, and even down to Mexico. The Americas inspired him to write more and more music based on Latin flavours, and today Alessandro is a complete artist recording the most important album of his life, with the incredibly talented italian producer Alfonso Esposito at Extra Sensory Studios in London UK.
