“When I sat down to review A Lesser Hope, I was expecting another run-of-the-mill metal band, screaming their aggressions at the listener. Fortunately, I was completely wrong. This band knows what they’re doing, and they do it well. The first thing that caught my attention was the technicality. A Lesser Hope incorporates quite a bit of impressive guitar work and scales into their music. The song I was particularly drawn to was “Heat Fire And Darkness,” as it provides an onslaught of fretwork and precise drumming throughout the course of the song. Another track, “Rise And Fall,” shows off the talented guitarists with a catchy, complex melody that matched the vocal work and drums perfectly.” - Saint Louis True Music

ALesserHope was formed early 2009 in St. Louis, MO. ALH is a 5 piece Christian Metal band featuring vocalist Nick Ferrario, Guitarists Eric Kennedy and Michael Torpea, Bass Guitarist Sam Crafton and Drummer Christian Clair. In April of 2009 ALH brought a new sound to the Metal scene. The next four months ALH started playing shows and building their fan base. In August 2009 ALH went on to win the Battle of the Bands contest to secure a spot at Pointfest 25. In the early winter months of 2010 ALH finished their EP entitled Song For The Redeemed. ALH went on to play Agapefest in April of 2011, Pointfest 28 in May of 2011, and Cornerstone in June of 2011. A Lesser Hope has a fan base that continues to grow as their word is spread through the St. Louis metro area. ALH has since grown to new heights with the support of their fans, with tens of thousands of plays on ReverbNation, MYspace, YouTube, Facebook and other digital media sites. In November of 2011 A Lesser Hope signed with Sancrosanct Records and released their debut album "The Rise" in July of 2012. Touring through Atlantafest, Ichthus Festival, Cornerstone Festival, Lifest and JesusFest they have gained a more diverse following and optimistically look toward the future of a larger fan base to help spread the word of GOD.
