"Tutto bene" by Alessio Calivi (ex Barton Fink, Other Voices), Calabrian by birth andMilanese by adoptiin, it's a good business card to illustrate his suburban and rough poetics,in whose service extends a faultless indie rock, made of sharp guitars and relentless rhythms. Inside "Sirene vetri urla e paperelle", the second album of Calivi (the first was in 2010, "Forme e stati"), there are twenty years of Italian and International indie rock, the intimate and intense poetic view of Agnelli e Chimenti ("Jorge & Sheis"), grunge-noise numbers
(the title-track) and leaden and postpunk atmosphers ("Berlino"). A lot of anger, no

The young Calabrian taken a shard of glass and, before our eyes, he marks his skins burning, screaming in our face, anger and envy with the sound of the guitars, but also creating suspended sensations rich of obscure tension. Bio
Alessio Calivi, born in the province of Reggio Calabria (Italy), discovers as a childto have a natural gift for singing. His original alternative rock, sung in Italian, has grew up thanks to a long experience in different bands, since he was fourteen. He moved to Milan, where he graduated at the Academy of Sound and further enhances their skills in the field of sound engineering, he enters first in the Violet View as guitarist-singer, then in the Miavagadilania as bassist. With the latter, in 2008, realizes the record "Il mare ci salirà negli occhi". In 2010 he released his first solo album, the self-produced "Forme e stati", in which he plays all the instruments, except the drums. The disc received rave reviews. In recent years he has worked with the band Other Voices, collaborating in the making of the album "A Way Back" (recorded in part at the legendary Parr Street Studios in Liverpool)and performing with them in Italy and abroad. In April 2015 released by the label ManitaLab his second album "Sirene vetri urla e paperelle", whose presentation tour started from Milan last 24 May and it saw him attend many festivals, opening live of Verdena, Soft Moon and of Stuart Braithwaite of the Mongwai.
With his new project, titled ‘Kim Ree Heena’, Alessio Calivi entirely changes his style, while his focus shifts to experimentation and electronic sounds. Singing alternates with exclusively instrumental themes, while electronic sounds go hand in hand with industrial sounds. The new course of the musician kicked off with a series of live events, during which the music was accompanied by the screening of visual projections made specifically by the artist Noil Klune. Abstract and dystopian images that follow the rhythms and experimental music within a project devoted to sound research.
