Bio
Alex Aldama was born in Madrid on the 5th of July, 1973.His parents were music lovers, greatly interested in piano and song. Alex demostrated a late interest in music, acquiring his first acoustic guitar at the age of 21 when he travelled to New York to improve his English and work during the summer. It was from that moment on that he decided to attend guitar and singing classes, and began to compose his first songs with the dream of one day starting up his own band and recording an album.
Very influenced by groups such as Dire Straits, los Rolling Stones, los Beatles, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Los Eagles, U2, The Police, Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, Otis Reading, Eric Clapton…etc, he has always tended to compose in English.
Today, after having defined his style and playing in solitary during years, he sometimes collaborates with other musicians in well-known Spanish halls. He has recorded his first album that includes 9 of his very own songs, and a version of Soul with a band made up of highly talented professionals that have played and still play in popular Spanish groups such as Revolver, La Guardia, La Trampa, Los Brincos, Amistades Peligrosas, Marlango, Red House, Marta Sánchez, Rafa Martín, Lou "Blue Lou Marini"(saxo player of the Blues Brothers)…etc.
His future plan is to expand his music all over the world, giving concerts and promoting himself, hoping that the great work that has been produced will give him the chance to continue recording albums as his creative instinct continues to drive him to compose new songs that he wants to share with people.
With the band in live had two big concerts on the best Clubs -bars in Madrid (Spain)
