Alexa is a endlessly blooming singer/songwriter whom has been releasing her own solo studio albums, her band, To Get Her Together's albums and running her own recording label since 2005. Alexa plays guitar, banjo, ukulele and sings and in TGHT plays percussion, bass, keys and background vocals. She has played alongside bands such as Spectrum (Pete Kember aka Sonic Boom of Spacemen 3), The Shivas and many others. Her music is a mixed drink of folk, psychedelic and her own creative style and approach. Her influences consist of 50's and 60's music, Pete Seeger, Harry Nilsson, Donovan, Syd Barrett, etc, etc. etc. Alexa is currently working on the release of her upcoming solo album "Night Light Moon" as well as her children's album, "To Bee A Flower" release due out later this year.
In addition to her beautifully unique songwriting and percussion playing she shoots, develops, prints and sells her own photographs and is in the process of producing her new line of photography books to sell at shows and in local shops around the country. Whether it's sweet, delicious pleasure for your ears, eyes or mind, Alexa will rock your soul one moment then warm your heart the next, she is surely not to be missed.
