J'ai ensuite le plaisir de présenter la chanteuse Alexandra Delgado dont les parents sont d'origine colombienne et qui possède donc un chaleureux bagage latin qui se démarque dans sa musique. A l'aise dans les trois langues que sont le français, l'anglais et l'espagnol, elle nous a fait des chansons dans chacune d'elles. En commençant par Indécision / Indecision, une chanson bien rythmée et bilingue, reflétant bien son mélange de cultures, elle poursuit ensuite avec Accroc sentimental puis avec Quand tu t'en vas qu'elle nous interprète en s'accompagnant au piano. Poursuivant dans la langue de Cervantes (l'espagnol), elle chante Locura (si mon orthographe est bonne), une superbe ballade aux accents du sud pour réchauffer la salle. Finalement, pour terminer sa prestation, elle nous avait préparé une surprise, soit la présence d'une danseuse de baladi (Isabelle Héroux) sur sa dernière chanson intitulée I believe in promises, une magnifique pièce planante aux accents orientaux. Applaudie chaleureusement par les spectateurs, Alexandra se sera fait plusieurs adeptes ce soir. Une jeune femme pleine de talent et de chaleur !

Combined with her warm tone of voice and off beat lyrics you have an original artist who has gained the respect of the music industry. Her song Salsa Beat was awarded at the Billboard World Song Contest in the Latin song category. Sentimental Idiot received her an Honor Award at the Great American Song Contest.
As a performer Alexandra Delgado has been invited to important festivals such as the Francofolies, Image+Nation and DiversCité. She can also been heard regularly on the local scene where she sings in English, French and Spanish.
The artist is a frequent guest on radio stations. She enjoys airplay across North America including Mexico and the Virgin Islands and as far away as Macedonia.
