Bio

Alex Inman is a rock/country singer with a soulful Memphis background. As a guitarist, he has played behind legend, Aaron Neville, and Memphis super group, Sound Fuzion. As an artist, he has opened up for the Florida Georgia Line and shared the stage with R&B singer, Coffey Anderson.

Alex's songwriting developed as he learned how to sing southern gospel music from his parents. His family has contributed greatly to the gospel music industry as writers and performers, but no accomplished musicians. Alex broke the mold and became an accomplished guitarist learning by ear while taking on other instruments like the piano, bass, drums, mandolin, and banjo. By learning from some of his favorite musicians like Brad Paisley and Keith Urban, he took a liking to writing and performing his own tunes.

Shortly after starting college, Alex self recorded, engineered, and produced his debut country album, "American Girl," (2012), with the help of a few musician friends. Alex has recently started co-writing and is constantly developing his songwriting craft.

In 2013, Alex Inman was asked to be apart of a local organization called "Musicians for LeBohneur," a children's hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. Alex, along with 40+ other Memphis artists in dozens of genres came together to create a diverse compilation album and raising money via concerts around the city. This was a way Alex thought he could give back to the hospital that saved his youngest brother's life after he was found at the bottom of a swimming pool at the age of two. There has always been a strong connection with LeBohneur children's hospital and Alex was excited to be a part of it.

Alex's sophomore album, "Better Than," is set to release in October 2013 and is sure to be a record Alex will not forget. Alex played 14 different instruments and sang all of the vocal parts in his bedroom on a laptop, a place he could be alone and create a sound that is Alex Inman.
