Lyrical content is strong as well. A griot of love and relationships has arrived. It's only a matter of time that this crooner makes it to your local music store and concert hall. "Alex Rosales Delivers "The Sound""

The first single, "All Out" features a mid-tempo beat seasoned with a lush soundscape of synths that pave the way for Alex's soothing vocals to sing things like, "You know just what to do, I see you've learned it well/ Your body's appetite, leaves me overwhelmed "and also features home-town Indianapolis rapper, Young Vro. With its sexy lyrics, lush pads and steady groove, "All Out" is sure to be the first song on top of your "Baby Making Music" playlist. "All Out" is currently being pushed to college radio and available now on iTunes and "The Sound EP" is now available via all major digital retailers. - www.corrientelatina.com

"Artist Spotlight: Alex Rosales from Los Angeles"

Last week we kicked off our Artist Spotlight series with Anita Nicole from London, and now we’re switching gears with a male artist.
Alex Rosales is an R&B/pop singer and music producer from Los Angeles, and he sent us his four-song debut EP, The Sound, all of which he wrote and produced.

Mr. Rosales is no rookie. In addition to writing songs since the age of 11 and playing piano by 13, his talents as a producer landed him all over radio stations in Spain with his merengue club remix of Rihanna’s hit single, “Where Have You Been.”

To me, his smooth voice sounds reminiscent of both Justin Timberlake and R. Kelly, intertwined with a subtle Spanish accent. ¡Me gusta! - TheHonestHour.com

""Louder Than Words" Alex Rosales"

This is an amazingly sweet and smooth track by emerging artist Alex Rosales. He is an Indianapolis Pop/R&B artist with a bit of a “Latin swagger”, in his own words. He contacted me with his music and I’m glad he did. This song is so great – awesome, diverse instrumental that’s soft and soothing. He sings like he’s stroking a little baby rabbit with his vocals. Yea, That smooth. - Jillboard Top 100

"Alex Rosales has "The Sound""

The first impression I got from the debut EP of this producer/artist was nothing less than perfection. Considering he produced, sang and mixed everything himself. Alex's most notable achievement was his remix of Rihanna's hit, "Where Have You Been" which got airplay in places like Romania and was a favorite among latin d's. But with "The Sound EP" the mid west native goes back to his R&B and Pop beginnings. The Sound EP features four tracks that are well put together and ready for radio. - Greg Duhammel, Buzznet.com

"Alex knows there's "Something About U""

Alex Rosales's single “Something About U,” showcases the Indianapolis-based singer/songwriter as a master melody-maker and producer. With an impressively well put together beat and an addictive catchy hook, Alex Rosales offers a fine balance between the expected elements of pop and enough talent to rival musics top hit-makers.

"Alex Rosales local artist on the rise"

Alex Rosales spends most of his time in one of his apartments' 10x15 rooms , which he has made into a project studio, making sounds that eventually become songs. Staring at l.e.d lights and lava lamps from which his music jumps, creating rhythms which pave paths for his "humms"to run, skip, fall and sprint briskly on. Swapping instruments on different tracks and staring tirelessly at endless wave files and Protools sessions. His songs are often time landscaped with high volume infectious synth lines and/or pounding drums. Ambitious to perform a collection of songs in a variety of ways has resulted in a treasure chest of instruments being used and abused, with mood creation at the forefront of his happy little brain.

Alex Rosales is currently working on an untitled EP from where the single "Something About U" is being released to radio and is now available on I-Tunes and various digital download websites. On the EP, Alex will be showcasing his productions and will collaborate with Season 1 American Idol contestant, Mark Scott , writing songs - IndyMojo.com
