Since starting piano lessons at age six, music has been the biggest part of Alex Wright's life. Piano led to guitar, guitar led to vocals, all three led to writing, and all of those aspects led to a sound that is true to years of work. Since starting at a high school specializing the performing arts in Washington, D.C., high remarks have been made about Alex Wright's live performances. After four years of high school bands, Alex Wright began school at Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA, and has started a following up and down the east coast. Inspired by the likes of John Mayer, Miles Davis, Radiohead, Ryan Adams, Brad Mehldau, and even the sounds from pop-punk and hardcore, Alex Wright's sound is original, yet easy to get in to.
