Alice April

Alice was born in Kiev, Ukraine. Inspired by a huge variety of musical genres and singing harmonies with her mom she started to write songs about everything. “If you can relate to the tune or move to it or both it brightens your life or helps to live through certain moments knowing somebody feels the way you do.”

Her first demo had two original songs “Waiting for your call” and “The Stolen Key”. It was produced at the local Indie studio in Kiev. Followed by her first show at the local café Boomerang with her classmate’s band.

In 2007 Alice moved to United States, Florida and started playing at the local cafes, bars and other venues.

She won the 1st place at “Got Talent” competition, played at Port Salerno Seafood Festival (Jan 30, 2010) and South Florida Fair .

April 29-May 3 she went to Hollywood, CA, for the five-day event, which brought music lovers of all skill levels together. Rock-n-Roll Camp was a life-changing experience for Alice as a musician/songwriter.

She co-wrote a song called “Living A Dream” with Bruce Kulick (KISS), shared microphone with Steven Tyler (Aerosmith), singing “Helter Skelter”, jammed with Share Ross (Vixen) and Bam Ross (Dogs D’Amour), recorded “Living A Dream” with her band WTF and Bruce at the Capitol Records, engendered by Eddie Kramer (who recorded live albums by Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, The Rolling Stones, Peter Frampton…) and played a show at the Whiskey a GoGo.

Every day she attended rehearsals and master classes led by Mark Hudson, Kip Winger and many more amazing artists.

The process of making home recordings never stopped and in summer 2009 while visiting family in Kiev Alice recorded one more demo CD with songs “What a tease”, “Arise” and “Tooth Paste”.

Soon after the Rock-n-roll Camp Alice found out that Share and Bam Ross moved to Florida. They had a meeting about producing a debut album for Alice and on Dec 21st 2010 it was done.

“My Way” is all about making a big step forward following animal instincts, doing it the right way, putting on sweet cologne, going through ups and downs, thinking about love, singing human ballads, having no sleeps sometimes, not selling any dreams that are as sweet as sugar on fire because she already marked a day on her calendar looking into the future!

Since May 2011 Alice is living and performing in Tulsa, OK. She played at The Reverb, The Eclipse, The Hunt Club, Crystal Pistol Saloon, Ed’s Hurricane Lounge and many private parties and events. On February the 2nd 2013 she headlining and hosting her own music show on Cherry Street with her band mate Johnny Swan.
