About Ali Cecchetti
21 year old singer/ songwriter, Ali Cecchetti is no stranger to the limelight in the music industry. From winning 1st place in San Francisco’s KGO Radio contest “Best Music Never Heard” at the age of 17 to winning the prestigious Berklee College of Music’s 2007 Songwriting Competition, Ali is quickly becoming known as a highly talented singer and songwriter. She plays piano and guitar equally as well as she writes lyrics.
Ali’s songs were critically acclaimed by Soundclick.com in 2002 when Ali was only 15 years old and her songs charted at 1 on their Pop Charts and remained there for several weeks.
Ali recently performed a set of original songs with her full band at “Penny Framstad Presents” showcase at the Room 5 Lounge in Los Angeles in August, 2007. Music industry professionals, who attended, expressed interest in hearing Ali’s recordings and requested a copy of her upcoming EP set to be released this summer, 2008.
With a Songwriting degree from Berklee College of Music, Ali will move out to Los Angeles, CA where she can pursue her singing and songwriting career full time.
