Alice Ella,22,Horsham West Sussex, is currently recording her debut EP, writing jazz/soul with a pop twist.
She accompanies herself on piano &uses a guitarist for the upbeat numbers so she can get up and perform her socks off!
Due to be featured on SBTV& Sky TV she's hitting the music scene hard!


Alice Ella, 22, of Horsham West Sussex, is currently recording her debut EP, which is due for release in 2012.
She writes all of her songs, and plays piano, drums and guitar.

Alice recently had the surprise of her life when the Brit Awards, and Mastercard contacted her!

After spotting her cover of Emeli Sande's 'Heaven' on youtube ( )
They asked her to come and sing for them... little did she know what they were planning!
As Alice was singing, Emeli joined her on stage, for them to then sing together!
This is now the online advert for the Brit Awards 2012 and has been featured as the front page of the Metro, gaining Alice a lot of exposure!

Alice is due to be featured on SBTV with an A64 in Feb 2012 and has recently had a gig of hers filmed for a music documentary for Sky TV.

She has also recently featured on popular show 'Balcony TV' and is due to be featured again in Jan 2012 – (

After recent radio play of her songs 'Easy' 'Daisy Chains' and 'You Got Me So Good' she is now gigging in London, having recently played at Ronnie Scott's, The Tabernacle, and Proud Camden!
She is a graduate of the prestigious ACM (Academy of Contemporary Music) in Guildford, and her song ‘Fly’ has been featured in a local Brighton film, ‘Fire Bird’.
She recently won the ‘Young Pop Star 2009’ competition, STN Music, winning £200 for her charity, the M.E. Association.

Her interests lye within many different types of music, but she finds herself mainly in pop/soul/ R&B and jazz.

Alice has been performing from an early age, having been brought up within a very musical and talented family. She has featured in many shows, and won numerous dance competitions and awards, going on to be in the Horsham pantomime ‘Aladdin’ in 2003.

Unfortunately, she then came down with glandular fever in 2004. She then became very unwell with M.E. (Myalgic Encephalopathy) (please see for more information) She spent several years battling this illness, becoming wheelchair bound and having to commit to years of physiotherapy. In Feb 2009, Alice undertook a treatment called ‘The Lightning Process’ and claims this to have been the key to now being on the road to a full recovery and being able to persue her dreams.
Alice Ella hopes to raise awareness of M.E. and to donate a percentage of her profits to ‘The M.E. Association’

Alice's main influences include Jessie J, Emeli Sande, Ed Sheeran, Beyonce, Christina Aguilera, Corrine Bailey Rae, Michael Jackson, Alicia Keys, and Ellie Goulding.
Her songs refer heavily to her past relationships and to her personal struggles in life, making her songs very personal, and powerful.
