Bio
When she is not training at the Beijing Opera, studying the Chinese harp in Taiwan, nor composing movie soundtracks, Alice Lewis simply writes songs.
Her mesmerising stage performances combine an eathereal and unique voice (in the vein of Kate Bush or Julee Cruise) with amazing instruments: omnichord, harmonium, Italian organ and vintage drum machine. Her debut album, recorded in Sussex (UK) and Paris, produced by Ian Caple (Tricky, Tindersticks, Stina Nordenstam, Alain Bashung), was release by Naïve/ Fr, in October 2010. Her project was selected in the official "Printemps de Bourges", renowned new talents french festival.
