Bio
Exposed to performign arts at a young age, music has always been a part of Alice's life. Just when she thought she could pursue her interests after being accepted to a performng academy, her family moved away only a year later. But, moving around frequently did not stop her from doing what she loved most.
Alice first started showcasing her talent through local musicals and choirs. It was a stepping stone to future endeavors. She performed at many Kiwanis Music Festivals and MusicFests.
When Alice was given the opportunity to compose a song for her school, she went above a beyond by recruiting a school song band and writing a concert band arrangement for it. She also incorporated her talent into charitable fundrasiers she organized. Soon, her name became well-known locally.
In 2008, Alice took it a step further when performing O Canada to the city of Milton.
She would later go on to place first place in the composition class of the Lambton County Music Festival in both 2009 and 2010. Her work has also won the 2010 OSSTF Student Achievement Awards for Southwestern Ontario. Another annual event she participates in is the Youth Talent Search, in which she has made it to Western Fair the past two years.
Currently, Alice is very involved in the music scene at school. Other than taking music courses, she participates in bands, choirs, musicals, and more. You can be sure to expect Alice at every performing opportunity available.
Alice plays the piano, guitar and flute. When it comes to writing music, Alice is influenced by Taylor Swift's determination and connectable lyrics. However, Alice's style is unique in its fusion of music forms and lyrics inspired by everyday life. Her distinct sound can't be missed.
