Bio
Not even a year ago, Alice Wallace scrapped everything and moved to California.
She'd tried going the "normal" route: getting a degree, followed by a job in her field. She tried settling down.
But it wasn't for her.
So she packed up and moved from the east coast to the west and has been working hard ever since, playing her music for anyone who will listen. With influences that range from 60's classic rockers to modern singer-songwriters, Alice has created her own style of blues/rock that has tinges of the raspy blues goddess Janis Joplin, the sweet-voiced folk singer Jewel, and the belting rock riffs of the Rolling Stones.
Alice uses influences from all angles of life to craft her songs. And her listeners, in turn, say they can't help but relate to the stories she tells. Her move to California, as well as the new people she has met playing the Orange County music circuit, have also helped to hone her style and voice. She hasn't regretted a single moment since moving west to pursue her dream, and she plans to keep it that way.
