Bio
Alicia James born in Houston, TX, but raised in Philadelphia Mississippi, has been singing since she took her first step as a child in the small southern town of Philadelphia, Mississippi. After moving to Houston TX, in 2001 she completed her degree before starting her professional music career in 2004.
After several attempts at girl groups, Alicia finally decided to pursue her fulltime career as a solo artist in 2008.
She is currently working on her first album which is due to release in January 2010 through April Sky Music. She is the co-host, and founder of the Houston Soul Music Review musician’s networking group.
