Bio

Ali Harter, 25, is a singer/songwriter from Choctaw, Oklahoma. Playing in bands or as a solo musician for the better part of thirteen years, Harter is a veteran in the national music scene. After signing and later parting with an Oklahoma based record label in the winter of 2005/2006, Ali has joined forces with Oklahoma’s own Mama Bird Booking and has bounced back by means of staying on constant tour, a bare minimum of 13 dates a month, and has recorded two full length records as an independant artist. Ali's first record, "Worry The Bone", was released June 15th 2007 on Little Mafia Records. The second record, "No Bees, No Honey", is set to be released late 2009, also on Little Mafia. In the summer of 2007 Ali began work with an overseas production company, ACOUZIC, with whom more than 10 tours throughout France, Switzerland, and southern Belgium have been completed. Ali has been fortunate enough to share the stage with such acts as: John Mayall, Meg and Dia, Magnolia Electric Co., Steel Train, Dierks Bentley, Miranda Lambert, Desole, War of Ages, Flee The Seen, Bloody Sunday, Kingston Falls, The Actuals, Jeff Hansen, Southerly, The Old Haunts, Shearwater and has shared festival billing with the likes of The Flaming Lips, Leon Russel, BB King, Ben Harper, The Black Eyed Peas, Amos Lee, Damone as well as many others.
