Born in Cleveland, OH and raised in Columbus, his interest in music started when his mother introduced him to Michael Jackson’s world-renowned movie Moonwalker. “I began writing raps in junior high school not knowing where it would lead me. Then one day I shared some lyrics with a friend who then went and began to spread the word around school. I received so much love and support that it inspired me to take my talents to the next level and record my first song,” Futura reveals.
More recently he’s acquired placement on two different Coast 2 Coast mixtapes and was just chosen to perform at a Coast 2 Coast Live event in his hometown of Columbus on December 12th. Futura plans on releasing his next single sometime towards the end November. At this time he doesn’t have a name for the single, but it will be available on all of his social media pages. “My main goal is to give my city/state a sound and music to be proud of which is unique and will be respected worldwide,” he reveals.

Futura's goal is to give his city/state a sound and music to be proud of, which will be recognized and respected worldwide. Futura states, "Music is everything to me. It's more than just words and rhythm to me, it's life".
