Bio

There's a new production for the 2013 season and it already has a good reception from the public. In her shows, Aline Duran and her band transmit such an energy that makes the audience identify with her songs. According to the singer herself says: "The live is a great moment when the energy supplied ends up being more intense than in the studio, because there is this exchange with people. This is where the music is ours."

After releasing her debut album "Novo Dia" (Deckdisc) – which it has included the participation of famous musicians such as Bi Ribeiro and João Fera (Paralamas do Sucesso), DJ Marcelinho da Lua, Black Alien and others, and being considered one of the great works of contemporary reggae by the specialized media - the singer-songwriter Aline Duran is preparing to release her new album. In 2011, Aline released a single called “Sorrir pra mim”, in which she chose a more universal language to pass messages, produced by Alberto Vaz, who worked with Jon Secada, Dionne Warwick, Dianne Reeves, Diana Krall, among others. In 2012, she was invited by UOL for a tribute to the Rolling Stones, and she's recorded his own version for the song "Love is strong", from the album Voodoo Lounge.

The single “É com você” was executed in the country’s major radios and the clip was aired in the main channels of music of Brazil as VH1, MTV and MixTv. In mid-2011, the video reached the portals of MTVHive (EUA), MTVUK and MTVAsia.

Aline Duran, a native of Sao Paulo, Brazil, began her musical career in 2003 by attending various shows and important events in the city of Sao Paulo, as "Grito Cultural" in its two editions (one of which drew more than 80,000 people at Pacaembu stadium), at the 450º Sao Paulo Anniversary and music festivals as "Humaitá Pra Peixe" in Rio de Janeiro, "Gas Festival" sponsored by Guarana Antartica, among others. In 2007, the singer began to gain ground on the music scene in South America, and participated at the reggae festival "Dynamic Soundclash" in Argentina, where she represented Brazil. This experience gave her the opportunity later to participate in many reggae albums and compilations. In 2009, while promoting her debut album “Novo Dia” released in late 2008, Aline hit the road for a tour through Brazil alongside Don Carlos and Apple Gabriel, two Jamaican artists.
Her last most important performances were at the “Boarding Film Festival” in Argentina and at the “2011Virada Cultural” with Mad Professor in the city of Sao Paulo.
