"Maidstone BOTB Final Write-Up"

Then came Aliquot Flow, an intriguingly-named three piece from Gillingham, who took to the stage with confidence and must have scared their opponents with a devastatingly assured performance of original and complex compositions topped with powerful vocals.

But if they wowed the judges - three of the four-strong panel deemed Aliquot Flow the top act of the night - the audience was not as impressed, and it was the next band, The Novels, who stole the popular vote. - Kent Online

Bio

The trio have been gigging prolifically in and around Medway, debuting at Capstone Park’s Extreme Medway festival in the summer of 2007, constantly growing in confidence with the experience earned. Involved in local events such as Antfest and Oxjam, their outreaching influence has also earned them gigs at Camden’s The Cuban bar and Kingston’s Make Less Strangers charity event.

Their devoted schedule has culminated in the band developing a loyal local fan base and being booked for what was arguably Medway’s most prestigious live music event of 2008; Live from the Fort at Fort Amherst, Chatham.

Aliquot Flow plan to broaden their horizons in 2009, with their initial focus being to hone their song craft and take their ever maturing live performance to a wider audience. They look to independently release their debut album before the end of 2009.
