Alisha B

Alisha Brown is a Multi talented soulful singer.

She has featured on many projects, including                ‘Paul Hardcastle', updated version of his No1 80′s hit, ’19’ and 'Sonz of Thunder Uk' "He’s been good to me”,

Has sang backing vocals for ‘Faye Simpson', (former lead singer of Nu Colours) and has been a part of groups;'Free2B' and 'David's Praise.

She is also the Lead singer for her church worship team “Divine Essence” at Outreach International Healing Ministries.

Alisha has been singing from the age of 8, starting off in a youth choir, then moving up to the adult choir at the age of 12, where she then became the Worship Leader at  her church the age of 14.

Alisha’s road to becoming a Gospel Artist started at the age of 12, when she was in a dance group called ‘Vision’, and they performed at various churches and were featured on a TV programme called, ‘Keep it Real’,        on BEN TV.

This opportunity along with listening to the dreams of the Leader of the dance group, made her develop the desire to become a professional singer.

Shortly after she received a prophecy, saying God has called her to be a Singer, Songwriter, and Composer, and she hasn’t looked back since.

Alisha has had a lot of musical experience apart from singing in the choir, from attending various vocal training / development classes from ‘Wac performing arts’ in ‘Belsize park’, to private vocal training with Faye Simpson and a Music Practice Diploma

Gaining professional training including, piano and keyboard lessons,

And performing in a group called, ‘Free2B’, for 5 years up to 2009 and  David’s Praise’ from 2008 to early 2012.

Which has enabled her to perform on various songs including: Free2B’s 2009 Single ‘He Touched me’, which received radio airplay on Urban Gospel Network     (Dave P), BBC Oxford (DJ G) and on an American Compilation album.

And ‘Merry Christmas with David’s Praise’, which was played on Luv316 radio/website and at various churches/Venues; including: New life Christian centre international. Outreach International Healing Ministries, Tokynton Christian Centre. Champions Temple (Neasden), Westminster Abbey Hall, Bowery London, Praisetek Light Club,

The Hope and Anchor. Rochester Castle, University of East London,  Harbor Garden Café,  St Joseph’s Hospice, Tina Soul jam nights,  Olive TV, Bedroom Lounge and recently, Zoe Nights and Radiantway Baptist Church, as a solo artist

In terms of her understanding of the music industry she has a Degree in Music Business, from the Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford, Surrey.

Alisha has been writing her own solo material since 2009, and God quickly opened doors for her to work with the producer, D-Nyce.

During 2009 and 2011, Alisha was studying as well as being faithful to group

David’s Praise and church commitments, and therefore she was only able to produce demos of her music.

However she now has taken the time to put together her first single   ‘Apple of my eye’, which is currently receiving great feedback in churches and over the Internet. 

Apple of my eye is a Love song to God the Father, Son Jesus and Holy Spirit.

Alisha believes in writing songs inspired by the Holy Spirit, as to her music creates enjoyable experiences  whilst listening,  but the Holy Spirit makes a impact whilst listening and after the music stops, with changes entire lives and beings.

And her prayer is for the Holy Spirit to have his way throughout her music ministry and career.
