Alisha Brown is an Amazing Gospel/R&B Singer/Songwriter, who sings to uplift and encourage people
through her songs.
She believes God has given her a gift, to fulfil a specific assignment on the earth that will give God Glory.
Alisha has been singing from the age of 8, starting off in a youth choir, then moving up to the adult choir at the age of 10, where she then became the Worship Leader.
Alisha still till this day Alisha plays a big part in her church choir and also teaches a youth choir.
Alisha’s road to becoming a Gospel Artist started at the age of 12,when she was in a dance group called ‘Vision’, and they performed at various churches and where featured on a TV programme.
This opportunity along with listening to the dreams of the Leader of the dance group,
who was also aspiring to be a singer, made her desire to take music more seriously and aim to become a worldwide singer/songwriter.
Now at the age of 21, she can look back and smile, as she hasn’t given up on her dream, and is on her way.
She has gone through training, from piano lessons to private singing lessons.
She has performed with a group called, ‘Free2B’, for 5 years, which has enabled her to perform at various events including clubs; receive radio airplay on Christian stations and feature on an
American Compilation album; develop excellent stage presence, and studio skills.
She has been a member of a live Gospel band called, ‘David’s Praise since late 2008, and they will be releasing an album this year.
She has done backing vocals live for Faye Simpson, former lead singer of Nu Colours,
and has recently done some vocals for Paul Hardcastle on a newer version of his 80's No1, 19.
To add to that, she is a Music Business student, on a BA Hons Degree, at the Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford, Surrey.
And she is currently working on her first solo album, which her songs are currently receiving great feedback on the Internet.
Alisha is striving to become as successful as Mary Mary and she believes her gift will make room for her in life.
(Mary Mary’s latest album,’ The Sound’ was number 7 in Billboard charts and single, 'God in me', was number 5 in RNB charts).
