Besides writing original music in the folk genre and being recognized (in the top 5) for her song, Coattails, in the Adult Contemporary category of the January, 2005, Song of the Year contest, Alison plays guitar and sings in a Fairfield County, Connecticut based band called 4 The Hard Way.
