Alison Joy Williams always finds a memorable way to write about Love and the Blues from a new perspective. "The Blues Sure Get Me" a new song on her upcoming cd is a perfect example of finding a new way to look at an old subject. On stage, she never fails to bring the message home. Alison's powerful voice leaves no doubt about the meaning of the song.

Alison Joy Williams has the passion! It comes out in her writing, her performance and her voice. I recently heard Alison at the Kauai Music Festival and was taken by her energy for a simple acoustic set. This was then enhanced at our KMF reunion night in Nashville when she performed more of her own work with her band. In both these ends of the spectrum she gave her all and rocked it.

Blonde Hair Blues is a delight to listen to for anybody who enjoys all the flavors of Blues music and the genre's it has influenced. I have to thank Alison for doing the best rendition of House Of The Rising Sun I've ever heard. Bio
Blues, rocking, crooning, crying blues. Alison combines songs from her cd Blonde Hair Blues with Classic rocking blues in her sets. The covers she performs include a wide range of influences from Bonnie Raitt and Keb Mo to Etta James and Ben E King. Alison has traveled and sang in some interesting places from Florida to Hong Kong. Before her recent move to Nashville Alison was living and performing several times a week in and around Honolulu Hawaii as a singer/songwriter and with two different bands one a traditional blues group and the other a house style band that played oldies rock.
Currently Alison plays out frequently with her band and as a songwriter in writers venues all over Nashville. Songs from her cd Blonde Hair Blues are currently receiving airplay on over two hundred radio stations all over the world. Her first single from Blonde Hair Blues reached the top 40 on the charts in Germany. She is now splitting her time between Nashville and Europe where she is growing a very solid fan base for her music.
Alison has been in the studio recording her new cd ' Love All Of Me' due out the end of February. Industry pro's have already deemed this cd one great collection of songs.
Look for Alison's single ' I Don't Feel' to hit radio the middle of January.
