Born Lucas Matias Palomo in Sandusky, Ohio April 22, 1980. I am now a solo acoustic guitarist, Bringin a spanish style to The Underground and Jam nights all around Ohio. Currently writing new songs for an upcomming full length album, Also just recorded some final footage for a DVD release in the spring/summer 2009!
I started playing guitar when I was 16. Friends showin me some cords and scales. Playing on a epiphone "Firebird" electric guitar that i bought with most of my graduation money and an old harmony acousticmy parents got for my 17th birthday . I still have both, The Acoustic is in my living room so it gets alot of play on those party nights. :) I now have a 12-string Ibanez acoustic which i play for all of my shows. When I first used a 12 string it was only for a few songs on the 12 string, then the rest on a 6 string. I began to like the more full sound and now it is all I use on stage.
I played mostly Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd and Metallica. Started jammin with many different guitarist in a few different bands with three or four guitarist and no bass player. So I started useing my brothers Bass rig, Played bass in the heavy metal band "Lychgate" After several EP's, Albums and a name change over 6 years, Lychgate took a break. In that break I got back to playing more guitar than bass. I now have released my EP "Stuff" Recorded at The Underground in Sandusky, Ohio. I wanted to record in that room only cause I like the acoustics of the room. The tracks are all instermental, mainly cause I cant write lyrics or sing very well. I have played in bands for years and always some comprimise. This was a chance to have none of that and only my vision............ I have played with many different styles of musicians. Rehab, Carolines Spine, Days of the New, Critical Bill, Love Sick Radio, Scinic Idaho, A Tale of 2 Jimmys, Scott Free, Brad Walk, Bud Washington, Gods Gunslingers, Demue Jones, Zeppo, Acoustic Deth, and Instermentalist The Juniper wait, The Siblings and Caspian. Oddly enough I still play with bands that My heavy metal bands Lychgate or To Our Grave would have.... Cold Under Texas, Nailbinder, Die E.M.O, Crazy Angolos, I was jammed with or would have jammed with such as Adema, Know Lyfe, Russett Burbank, Chris Voltz of Flaw, 9th Corner, Autum in Florence, Alas the Bane, Worst Case Sanareo, Coersion, Halves tha make us whole, Run into the Shadows, PREMONITIONjammin with original Lychgate members Tony Gundrum(guitar) and Vince Ulizzi(vocals) since about 2000 or so. Been through a few Drummers. Had great times with alot of great people in those Lychgate years. Played with a shit load of bands that I loved there music. I have alot of pic's and video and audio.
