AliT

Alison Turner (also known as AliT) is an American singer/songwriter from the very small town of South Royalton, VT. She has been writing songs and performing them in public since she was 11-years-old. AliT is self-managed, films/produces/edits/directs her own music videos, and records/produces her own music straight from her cat cave (bedroom). She has a whole repertoire of songs, but just recently released her first official album, "Break". 
AliT is a graduating senior at Wagner College on Staten Island, NY, where she is majoring in Arts Administration and minoring in Psychology and Film Studies. 
“I love music: Listening to it, writing it, performing it. It’s a huge part of my life, and I want to become successful as an artist. To me, being a singer/songwriter means getting my words heard. I’m a rather reticent person and I’m not very open with what I’m thinking, but when I have my guitar under my arm and I sing my songs, people tend to listen. Music has given me a voice, and made me more confident. Everyone has at least one thing they can say they love and are good at. For me, it’s music.”
