On his first EP, Alix Vesper drops four electro-sexy and self-depreciating bombs, along with its remixes, tailor-made for dance floors. Produced along with Sylvain Ehinger (aka Xewin) AV1 builds a bridge between electro pop and club culture. Alix challenges the codes and references between old-house, 90’s dance and new-wave and offers unapologetic dance music that takes the shape of hymns to nocturnal hedonism, to urban encounters and to the maze of inspiration, all while embracing humor and a sense of second degree.
The “remixes” section offers pride of place to local producers and DJs: Garance (Ayeko) and her hypnotic deep house, soaked with exotic percussions, Christian Stark (The Cruzaders / Los Cruzeiros) and his sensual nu disco, Bauchamp (Argent Sale) and his electro fiddling funky imaginings, Se-Te Ve (Plak/Gravitation) and his tribal house minimalism.
AV 1 is released on collective.ch, an independent Swiss electro label, developed by Sylvain Ehringer and Alix Vesper. AV1 is the sixth production for the label, after Cobalt’s “Try me out”, the LP “Returning” and many of Xevin’s EPs, including “Rebel Princess EP” feat. Yarah Bravo, to which Alix has contributed by remixing the standout track.

Fascinated by dance music from the 90's and moved by today's futile existential questions, Alix, who earned his stripes as a composer and keyboardist in the electro-pop band Cobalt, one day declared himself to have enough humour and hours of nightclubbing to make people dance on his own retro-futuristic explorations. It was a friday night in his room. Sophie B. Larsen reflected this in the “Friday Night In My Room” music video, which features a chameleon Alix and his bed in five puzzling sequence shots. After a series of explosive shows, Alix decides to make his official debut as a nightly electro entertainer and delivers his first productions on digital : AV1.

One stage, Alix teams with sheDJ and percussionist The Magic Finger. The powerful duo offers an electronic and electrifying show made of sexy beats, mellow voices, tribal percussions, keytar and other night extravagances, with an undisclosed aim to get all bums in the place moving.
Alix Vesper and The Magic Finger propose a hybrid show between live act and performance. Live percussions, voices and synths take the public in their unbridled world filled with highly charged dance steps, crazy outfits and guests, including the roaring Baronne (Cobalt's voice) or dancers from the music video. Mercury is going to reach seventh heaven.
