Alkaline Vibe was formed in 2007. Greg Ackerman, Rob Burgoyne and Damon Wilson make up this rock band. They have played for Tiny's Tavern, World Cafe, World Flavors, The Black Forest, Good Fellas, The Downtown Lounge, Joe’s Bar and Grill, Happy Hours, The Astoria, Sam Bond’s Garage, Spirits, the Hemp Festival, the first annual “Save The Pets- Adopt an Animal” benefit at Alton Baker Park and countless gigs for family and friends. Greg Ackerman- Guitar, Bass. Born 1975 in Lincoln, Nebraska -Influenced by british invasion bands, classic rock and the blues. Greg is a former member of Lunacy, Royal Jelly and The Disclaimers. He also plays with The Kingpins and Devilcatmotorclub. Greg also tried out and performed a few shows with The London Flush. Greg’s favorite dead celebrity is George C. “Carlin“.

Rob Burgoyne-Drums. Born 1960 in Ontario, Oregon. -Influences are Grateful Dead, Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Gentle Giant, Camel, Focus and others. He started playing drums in the 9th grade using the school's drum-kit while people within earshot moved to the beat. Later in high school he played tympani in the high school band and jammed with rock-n-roll garage bands. After moving to Eugene in 1997, Rob joined a band called Roy-G-Biv but they disbanded later that same year. In 2002 Rob joined a 3-piece psychedelic, acid rock band called The Cosmodelic Eargazums and continued with them until late in 2003.
After Rob's return from the East Coast, he joined a band with whom
after joining, called themselves Flat Stanley, A group of musicians comprising
of a doctor, physics professor, parts designer and later a retired professor,
playing old jazz standards and pop rock, drumming with them from 2005 till 2006.

Damon Wilson-Guitar, Bass. Born 1976 in San Leandro, California. Influences are Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Janis Joplin, The Beatles, Creedance Clearwater Revival, Black Sabbath, U2, Mazzy Star, The Doors and Pink Floyd. Damon moved to Oregon at the age of nine. He played flute, trumpet, trombone and later discovered the guitar. At 14, his uncle Leo (who tried out with Metallica) gave Damon his first guitar, which was later, ran over by a car. He did not pick up another guitar for a while. After graduating high school, he went traveling across the country and eventually found himself living in New York. He stayed at the famous St. Marks Motel in The Village on Manhatton just to later discover that many rock legends had stayed there before him. Damon returned to Oregon and began to set the stage for his future which ultimately led to meeting his current band Alkaline Vibe. Damon's first stage performance was performed at an open jam called Rascals, which is now closed. He played a few gigs with Roy-G-Biv and one venue with The London Flush. Damon takes a right-handed guitar and flips the guitar without changing the strings.
