Originally from Dallas, TX; Alkhemi Jones went to Booker T. Washington Arts Magnet Highschool. From there she moved to New York on her career oriented rights of passage. She moved to Atlanta where she is currently working on her solo project... SouthernHipHopProlificChevyMusic and she's doing tour dates with the Nappy Roots. Her influences include but aren't limited to Diana Ross, Jimi Hendrix, MC Lyte, Queen Latifah and The Beetles. She captivates an audience with her presence as she gets them involved with her show and loves to do songs familiar to the audience to tune them in to her channel.
