"Thanks!"

Comments:
Allen,
I just wanted to tell you how much I love The Light of That City. A friend I used to work with told me about this song a few years ago and it really touched my heart. This song is absolutely amazing and you are a very talented artist. I would love to hear this performed live but unfortunately you dont have anything planned for SC this year. I shared this song with the choir director at my church and he really like it and may plan to add it into their schedule sometime. Thanks so much for your time, I'll be looking to see if youre ever performing local to me, and god bless!

Not one time through all that I have seen and been through have I cried until i picked up a CD that didn't belong to me yet listen to. You're message is amazing and you have a voice of an Angel. I just want to say thank you! I honestly believe someone is praying for all of us. Thank you sir!

"Keep Up The Faith!"

Comments:
Dear Mr. Asbury, Last Weekend in Alpena, MI you sang at the Word of Life Church, my son was a guest of a family there. He is 15, coming off of a rough 6 months, last July he was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma, we spent the fall, not at football games that he loves, but at the U of M Cancer Center receiving treatment. Every church in Alpena had him on their prayer lists as he is friends of many. Their prayers worked and on November 17, 2006 we learned he was in remission and no further treatment needed. You can not imagine the joy, the local news did a front page Thanksgiving story on him and how thankful we were to those who prayed for us. He was very touched by your song "Somebody's Praying Me Through". Keep up the faith, you are being heard. Mrs. Tom Atkinson

"I Will See The Light Of That City!"

Comments:
Hello, I am very thankful to God for people like you that have such awesome voices . There is one song that you sing "The Light Of That City" . I am beggining to loose my vision on both my eyes and everytime I come back from the eye doctor I usually return very depressed and listen to that song that really gets me back on my feet again because you don't know how hard it is for me to not be able to work or drive like I use to. Sometimes I feel like just giving up and then I always end up playing your song and that helps me have hope that even though I am going through some bad times because of my brain tumor I know that if I keep my faith someday I too will be able to see the light in that city.
Keep me in your prayers brother,
God Bless You,
Ramon

"Somebody's Praying A Marine Through"

Comments:
My fiance is a Marine. He's been deployed once to Iraq and will be going back for a 2nd tour in September. He was sent your CD Somebody's Praying Me Through with the bonus track. He listened to it so much that it doesn't play any songs but the bonus track, "Somebody's Praying Me Through!" Where do I buy him another copy of that CD? I've looked everywhere. Where are your CDs sold? By the way, thank you so much for your music. You are a true gift from our Lord and Savior! Thank you!

"Thanks For The Song!"

Comments:
I am writing because I heard your song "Life to the Living" on the radio and went to buy it. I also found another of your CD's which had a song "Military Version of Somebody's Praying Me Through ". I was driving down the road when it came on. It touched my heart and tears began to flow. My 18 yr old son joined the military last year and currently is stationed stateside training as a combat medic. He knows where he is going when it is all finished but he has no fear because as he tells me many people pray for him and we all have to go to heaven sometime. I sent him your CD and I pray it will remind him that we are always praying him through. Thanks for the song.

"His music touches hearts & his actions touch lives"

Last year, I was introduced to the music and ministry of Allen Asbury. Allen came to sing at a National Day of Prayer event in our city and then sang in our Sunday morning worship service. I’d been involved in music and ministry all of my life, but I’d never heard anyone who sang with the power and conviction Allen did. His message inspired my heart and his voice stirred my soul. My congregation was totally blessed, so much so that we brought him back this year to sing for us again.

During these events, Allen and I have had the opportunity to become friends. His friendship has truly blessed my life. He possesses the rare combination of talent and humility and he always has time for others. I remember picking Allen and his wife Heidi up at the airport. Each time we passed a soldier in the terminal headed for Iraq or returning home, Allen and Heidi shook their hands and thanked them for their service. His music touches hearts and his actions touch lives. He is a living sacrifice for Jesus Christ and he will bless your life.

Bio

Allen Asbury is a man who is obviously doing what he loves. He wears a smile as easily as the shirt on his broad shoulders; the laughter in his voice revealing the same joy that is heard in his music. The bright intensity in his eyes reflects the passion of a man for his God, and the satisfaction he has found in sharing it with others.

"This is who I am," he says simply of his growing music ministry. "It becomes who you are. It's your heartbeat. It's not just what you do -- it affects every part of your existence."

Allen's newest project -

TIMELESS - TREASURY OF FAITH & INSPIRATION

is a compilation of Christian Music's Very best songs over the last several decades. With powerful vocal performances and stirring duets with NICOLE C. MULLEN, CRYSTAL LEWIS, RUSS TAFF, DALLAS HOLM, BABBIE MASON and others, Allen delivers a treasury of music that moves the heart and soul of the believer.

Allen has a heart of ministry to our military and their families. He is interested in any event that would offer help and hope to Americas bravest and greatest. If you have interest in planning a special event recognizing our military in your area, please contact us at info@allenasbury.com.
