BandCountry

I am a huge music lover and love all styles of music. I would have to say that country music is my life and passion. I have many influences and heroes in the industry and I am using my inspiration to guide my feet along my road. I love a good rhythm and beat and lyrics that tell a story. All you need is three chords and the truth.

Lyrics

God is in the Grain

Written By: Allen Boland

I stood out on that open field ,that someday would be mine
With the man who owns it now right next to me
I said grandpa I don’t know how you did it
He said I had some higher powers help me

Well you shouldn’t just praise the lord on Sunday
The truth is he’s with us all the time
Even when I’m up on that rusty tractor
I can feel his touch in the sun that shines

God is in the grain
The breath of life in the sun and rain
I thank god for everyday I’m given
Starting when the sun has risen
By breaking bread made by that wife of mine

I built that house and built that barn boy
With my own two hands
It was a labour of love sweat and blood
And it was hard on this man

But when I look in from a distance
My kids are on the tire swing
My honeys pouring lemonade
It makes my heart just wanna sing

God is in the grain
The breath of life in the sun and rain
I thank god for everyday I’m given
Starting when the sun has risen
By breaking bread made by that wife of mine

(Musical Interlude)

Someday I’ll pass this onto you
When heaven calls my name
This life comes with a sacrifice
Remember these words when you pray

God is in the grain
My tears of joy will mix in with the rain
Bless your wife and your children
Enjoy that cold beer that’s been chillin
And I’ll see you son on the other side

Can I get an Amen!

(Musical Conclusion)
