Fried okra, cornbread, black eyed peas, biscuits, fried chicken, collard greens, barbecue, The Allen Nivens Band. It’s a southern thing and it’s a country thing. Having stormed barns, parties and barn in the Southeast for years, ANB combines an all-star cast that is sure to get you out of your seats and on your feet. But watch out for the rope-a-dope as the band will slip in a crooning troubadour ballad when you least expect it.
The band features Chris Cheatham on lead guitar, Rob Robinson on drums, Carl Williams on bass, Jason Caldwell on keyboard/vocals and Allen Nivens on guitar/vocals rounds out an energetic live music experience guaranteed to show you a good time. A set list including a slew of originals and cover selections as diverse as you’ll ever find underlines the band’s promise to leave you satisfied but still wanting more.
