Allen Timmons

I taught myself to play the guitar when I was about 12 yr's old. I developed quickly and played mostly folk and classic rock. Unfortuniately, I developed a bad drug problem and at 21 went to jail for a year. Afterward, I would only play a couple times a year until about 21/2 yr's ago ,while going through a devorce and in a deep state of depression, I picked up my guitar and started playing again. Instantly, a powerfull love affaire began between my guitar and my writing abilities. I practiced 7 to 8 hr's a day for two years and now perform when and wherever I can. My music has become the single most important thing in my life behind my daughter Emilie Jewel, the sourse for much of my inspiration. My songs are about life and it's many turns and twist. I've developed a great voice and style unique to todays market.
