Bio
Allergen is an indie rock band from Minneapolis, Minnesota fronted by Shannon Maroney. Originally intended as a solo project, Maroney has since added Eve Speers on guitar, Nick Flanders on bass, and Anna Shenehon on drums. Allergen mixes crunchy riffs and powerful vocals with lyrics influenced by Maroney’s life, and, as described by local music blog Ear Coffee, “feels like a private conversation being broadcast to the world.”
