All Eyes West

The Chicago scene has always been known for it's gritty, honest punk rock, defined by bands like Naked Raygun, Screeching Weasel, and 88 Fingers Louie. Newcomers ALL EYES WEST, no strangers themselves to this scene, are continuing in it's great tradition with the upcoming release of their self-titled debut LP this August.

ALL EYES WEST came together in the summer of 2010. The band is lead by vocalist/bassist Justin Miller, whose emotionally charged lyrics have been the signature to bands like Arizona’s Signsedso as well as Chicago indie rockers Hinter. Guitarist Jeff Dean is known for his guitar style, which has defined the sound of The Bomb (with Jeff Pezzati of Naked Raygun), Noise By Numbers and Explode and Make Up. Rick Fast, who has been a staple of Chicago’s independent rock scene and laid the foundation for renowned indie darlings Dialogue, rounds out the trio on drums.

In the year since their inception, ALL EYES WEST has managed to build an impressive resume for themselves, touring both coasts and playing shows with Rival Schools, Seaweed, Soul Control and Let Me Run. As if that was not enough, this June the band will head to the UK to tour with Above Them.

On August 23, ALL EYES WEST will release their debut self-titled LP on Jump Start Records. The album was recorded at Million Yen Studios by guitarist Jeff Dean and mastered by Jon Drew (Tokyo Police Club, Fucked Up). On it, the band pays homage to alternative rock giants such as Swervedriver, Drive Like Jehu, Jawbreaker, and Hüsker Dü, providing a breath of fresh air in today's punk rock world.
