BACKSTORY: All Fired Up was founded this year. The band Spank, out of South San Jose, had been performing classic rock. Matt, Jeff, Chris and Joe began producing a show featuring the hits of Pat Benatar. Finding a singer who could emulate Benatar was becoming difficult for Spank until Modesto singer Sadie Brown (The Sadie Brown Band) auditioned in June. She was an immediate "fit." Brown, who also performs locally in the Sadie Brown Band, was a top 40 finalist on NBC's "Nashville Stars" this year. All Fired Up has been polishing its show since July and group members are looking forward to their debut in Modesto at The Fat Cat Music House & Lounge.

All Fired Up is the nations rising star of tribute bands celebrating the music of Pat Benatar. Audiences will enjoy a detailed, well performed live stage show dedicated to this 80's rock legend.
Young and old alike will enjoy this cast of talented musicians, which include vocalist Sadie Brown, (Nashville Star finalist in 2008) as she takes the stage as Pat Benatar and mesmerizes audiences with her incredible voice and stage performance. Performing the part of Pat Benatar is a challenge for any singer at any level, and Sadie delivers an energy packed show that all ages will enjoy. Guitar enthusiasts will have their eyes on Christopher Dunn, who takes on the challenge of replicating the incredible guitar proficiencies of Neil Giraldo. Relying on years of experience in original and cover music, Chris delivers an electrifying performance on the guitar that will put a smile on every musicians face, as well as those just waiting to hear their favorite Neil Giraldo licks! Benatar always had an excellent utility musician in the mix playing an additional backing guitar to Neil's, or a keyboard with backing vocals. Multi-instrumentalist Jeff Bay handles this important role in the project with detailed rhythms on guitar and keyboard riffs from the very recognizable to the tasteful subtle backgrounds. Jeff has played music internationally as well as in local acts. It's a treat to hear Jeff play any instrument he picks up!
The unison and punch of the bass and drums is essential to Benatar's rhythm section, and it is no different in All Fired Up. Joe Birtola and Matt Padgett have mastered the tones, pushes, fills and beats that give Benatar's music that unique rock edge and gracefulness.
Everyone is guaranteed a true rock and roll show full of energy and musical proficiency. It's an incredible, articulate tribute to a living legend. "All Fired Up", a tribute to Pat Benatar.
